How to Buy Goods and Services - Basic

I need to buy something... where do I begin? Upon completion of this course this question will be answered. Whether you are new to UNL or have been here for a while you might not realize the different purchasing options available and when to appropriately use them. This class will give you an overview of the different purchasing methods, explain the best practices to use when making purchasing decisions and highlight other resources that are available to you.
It is recommended that you take this class prior to SAP Accounts Payable training, SAP Procurement Card training and SAP Materials Management training.

How to Buy Goods and Services - Advanced

Are you involved with making complex purchasing decisions? If so this class is for you! The Advance class picks up where the Basic class leaves off and explores the next phase of the purchasing process. Participants will learn the processes used for more complex purchases including RFQs, RFPs, single/sole source, service contracts, purchasing ethics, and other special circumstances you might encounter.
It is recommended that you have taken How to Buy Goods and Services - Basic.

SAP Materials Management

Learn hwo to create/display a purchase requisition, purchase orders and stock transfers and receipt goods in SAP.

SAP Fixed Assets/Asset Training

Review the roles and responsibilities of Property Managers. Learn how to display/change fixed assets, and run reports for fixed assets within SAP.
